This side dish combines two of my favorite foods - baked potatoes and smoked paprika. Or rather, two kinds of paprika at once - I also used hot paprika. And it's very delicious. Even if you decide to cook these potatoes with just sweet paprika - it will still be perfect.

I don't parboil the potatoes before baking - at the right temperature and in not too thick slices, they bake perfectly on their own.
These potatoes can be served as a side dish or as an appetizer on their own - just add some dipping sauce.

Recipe:

Wash the potatoes thoroughly with a brush under hot water. Wipe dry and cut into slices. I cut a medium potato into 8 pieces, a small one into 6.

Add oil, salt and spices.

Stir so that the spices cover all the potato pieces. Transfer to a baking sheet in a single layer.

Put into a preheated oven at 200 °C and bake until ready, about 35-40 minutes.

Serve with sauce.
