Few foods can match the simplicity and convenience of a meatloaf - both in preparation and serving. Mix the ingredients, load it into a baking dish (or just form the loaf on a baking sheet), and pop it in the oven. You can serve it with anything. And you can freeze the leftovers in portions and then slowly thaw, heat, and serve.

Today I have a new meatloaf recipe - with the addition of spinach and bacon, which will give the dish extra juiciness and a pleasant, slightly smoky flavor.

Recipe:

Dice the bacon. Grate cheese on a coarse grater.

Place the ground beef in a bowl, add the cheese, bacon, egg, garlic powder, salt to taste, and the defrosted spinach (don't squeeze it too hard, leave a little water in the mixture).

Stir the mixture.

Pour into a rectangular cake pan (or form the loaf on a foil-lined baking sheet). My pan is 25*11 cm.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.

Allow the finished loaf to come to room temperature for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan, slice and serve.

Bon appétit!
