This recipe makes a delicious salted salmon. It is very simple to prepare and takes only 10 minutes of your time - the rest of the time the fish spends in the marinade in the refrigerator without your participation.

Any red fish is suitable for salting - salmon, trout, pink salmon, chum salmon, coho salmon.

Recipe:

Put all ingredients, except fish and vodka, in a blender bowl.

Grind to a paste.

Put part of the marinade on the bottom of the container. Put the fillets on it, skin side down. Lay out all the remaining beetroot mass on top and spread it evenly. Pour vodka on top.

Cover with cling film, put the load on top.

Put in the fridge for one day. Than remove the load and flip the fish. Leave in the fridge for couple hours more.

Remove the salmon from the marinade and rinse with cold water. Pat dry with paper towels.

Gravlax is ready.
